The kid appropriate shovel was not cutting it for Alex. He had to have the BIG one.
Such good workers! I think Ryan will be able to retire his job of shoveling in a couple of years!
The boy's school had their Holiday Party on Saturday. We were able to go meet Santa.
Ben told him his list and Alex wasn't sure what to think and didn't want to let go of my hand.
They had a pancake breakfast after meeting the big red man.
Looking for more indoor activities to stay warm, we took the boys bowling. Ben has only been bowling once on a field trip through school. It was so much fun! Alex got into it as well!
They turned on cosmic bowling while we were there. Once that happened, Alex was ready to go. He didn't like the dark or lights all over. Ben was loving it though!
Ryan and I have been trying to take some time to catch up and take a break from our chaotic life for "date nights" at home after the kids go to bed. This was our "date night" meal last week. It beats paying a sitter $10 an hour and going out in the freezing weather!
