ICE SKATING

The other weekend Uncle Luke and I took Ben ice skating for his first time.  Ben couldn't wait to go! Luke was really excited to teach him since he played hockey in high school.  Ryan is secretly hoping Ben won't like skating because he really doesn't want a hockey player on his hands.  Hockey is not as popular in WI like it is in MN. Ryan has never even been on skates. Ben is not ready to be a professional hockey player yet...but he had fun. His favorite part was watching the Zamboni clean the ice and the hockey players practice.  He has been 'skating' around our kitchen all week and keeps talking about how slippery the floor is.  I think he will be ready to try it again when Coach Luke is ready for lesson #2.
