DAN PATCH DAYS

One of our favorite summer weekends finally arrived...Dan Patch Days in Savage! We had a great time at our towns festival. On Saturday we spent the afternoon watching the kids jump in the 20 plus jump houses and Alex had a blast riding the train! We saw lots of friends there and it was a great reason to be outside all day.  Ryan volunteered in the beer tent for a couple of hours.  He wasn't complaining that he got to drink for free while pouring beer for others.  Alex had no fear with the jump houses and wanted to be just like Ben and follow him on all of non-2.5 year old appropriate jumpers!  I am going to get grey hairs fast from him!   

 

Alex rode the train 3 times. He would have kept going if I had let him.

 Sunday morning we went to the pancake breakfast put on by the firefighters at the Fire station. They open up the fire trucks for the kids to climb in.  Alex was ecstatic! Ben and Alex above with friends- Colten, Ryah and Grayson.

 We finished our busy weekend Sunday afternoon at the parade with the Donatells.  The 4 boys had a blast!  It didn't take Alex long to figure out that candy was being thrown!

 Such a fun weekend! We cant wait until next years Dan Patch Days!
