Last weekend we made it back to Richland Center, WI for the Gochenaur Family reunion. It had been about 6 months since we have made the trip. It was so nice to spend time with family. Ben had a wonderful time playing with his cousins, Olivia and Gavin. Ryan's parents have a family farm that has been in the family for over 100 years. They have around 150 acres of land. You can imagine how much fun a little boy could have here. His cousins are there a lot so they showed him the ropes. Ben had a lot of firsts this weekend.
Ben learned how to pick beans from the garden. He also enjoyed walking through the corn with his dad.
He loved going for gator rides. Grandpa G. was an excellent driver although Ben preferred the drivers seat.
Ben showed no fear in not being by us. He kept wondering away exploring everything. He even tried to climb a silo which made me very nervous.
Like any true WI, Ben loves his cheese. He got that in his blood from his dad.
There was a pinata at the reunion. Ben had fun taking swings at the parrot. He has quite an arm on him. Surprisingly he made pretty good contact.
After all of that playing outside, Ben enjoyed relaxing and playing on Grandpas lap.
