4 HOURS UNTIL TAKEOFF

Last Friday we were so excited to be leaving for Fort Meyers, FL for vacation to visit Nana and Papa who are there for a month. We were all starting to be healthy again and we were looking forward to some fun in the sun. Ben was finally back at daycare after the influenza and ear infection. I went to go pick him up on Friday and the daycare ladies told us he was fussy and not eating. I thought I should probably go get him checked out since we were leaving town for a week. We were able to get right into the doctors office at 3pm- 4 hours before our scheduled flight. The doctor took one look in his ears and he didn't like what he was seeing. The medicine that we were already on day 7 of 10 wasn't working. He had very bad infections in both ears. We got a new prescription and were on our way. We made it to the airport in time, made the flight but had a fussy baby most of the trip. Once we landed in FL, the night weather was great. Ben was crabby but we blamed it on him being tired. Hopefully vacation can begin now!
