Happy Halloween from my Dinosaur and Fire Fighter! We had a long celebration for Halloween! We kicked it off with a wonderful Halloween party at our new neighbors house.
Fortunately, the cool weather didn't keep the kids from having fun outdoors!
Lots of people dressed up- big and small!
Ben wasn't prepared for the scary costumes and started crying when Michael tried to scare him.
There was a ton of food and lots of hungry mouths to feed. The decorations and Halloween details were amazing! Halloween is their favorite holiday and they told us every year they have Halloween parties. I hope they continue the tradition in MN and that we get invited again to next years!!
There was great food, beverages and conversation for the adults and the kids had no time to be bored...there was a Halloween egg hunt, glow sticks, marshmellow roasting...
and a pinata!
We continued the celebration the next day with pumpkin carving. Ben didn't want anything difficult on his pumpkin. Ryan was relieved.
Ben was easy to please...
Alex on the other hand, didn't seem overly impressed with his Toy Story pumpkin
Halloween Day there was a Halloween party and parade at Ben's school. Fortunately, I was in town and able to make it. The kids walked around the building a few times showing off their costumes and than we headed inside for Halloween treats.
Ben's friends in his classroom getting ready to paint pumpkins.
Halloween night we kept with our tradition and got together with the Donatells (aka Colten). Do you think Alex and Rowan will be as inseparable as Ben and Colten?
Ben and Colten ready to head out!
My bright eyed Alex!

Exhausted! Good thing Halloween only comes once a year!
