The other day my mom came up to spend the day shopping with me. She never has a hard time finding great things for me when she is spending my money! We had a fun filled shopping and bonding day! Thanks for everything mom!
That evening Ben and my mom were outside "decorating" for fall with my new stuff and looked up when a firetruck full of firemen cruised down our deserted street! Ben's eyes lit up when they stopped in front of our house and turned on the lights. A minute later a jeep pulled up behind them filled with more firemen! The Savage Fire department was out raising money by promoting their new calendars. Ben was to shy to climb in the truck but didn't have a problem posing for pictures.
I think the firefighters were happy to hear that Ben is planning to dress up as a firefighter for Halloween this year!
