It is hard to believe that a week has past since Alex finally came out of hiding. We seem to be surviving so far. We have had a wonderful, busy, exhausting tiresome, whirlwind of a week...did I mention exhausting and tiring? We are having so much fun watching our new bundle of joy...especially when it is not at 3am! It is already hard to imagine what life was like without Alex! We were able to go home from the hospital on Thursday, about 40 hours after we arrived. Ben had us stay in the hospital for a week so it felt odd heading home so soon. It was great to be home with a healthy baby, with the exception of jaundice and having to have him be under the lights 24/7 for a couple of days. I miss the around the clock nurses we had at the hospital but we were very lucky to have some great help waiting for us when we arrived home. Thank you!!
