April fools day was a night to remember. Ryan and I planned a date night for just the two of us to go out for a nice steak dinner. Sadly the dinner led us to the ER room for the 2nd time that week. This time the patient was Ryan. We thought he was having an allergic reaction to something in his food but long story found out that he had a piece of food lodged in his throat that was causing him pain and for him to vomit.
The ER doctor recommended Ryan seeing a throat specialist. The specialist ending up scoping his throat and he had been diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis, a rare condition. He is now on medicine to help keep the throat open and hopefully avoid any future episodes.
Finally feeling much better and ready to go home!
