Ben and Ryan have been making a good run at attending MN sporting events lately. A month ago it was Twins Fest. Ryan and Ben took off early Saturday morning and spent the day there. Ben had Trevor Plouffe autograph his baseball that he got from him last spring at Spring Training. Ben had a great time at Twins Fest. He threw with one of the players. Chris Hermann, a catcher told Ben to turn his hat around and wear it like catchers wear theirs. Ben looked at him like he was crazy and immediately turned his hat forward facing again.
If you remember for Christmas Ben wanted Wild tickets which Santa gave him. Ryan and Ben enjoyed a long Wild game the other night. It went into a shoot out and overtime. Unfortunately they lost. They didn't get home until 11pm on a Tuesday night. We had one tired Wild fan the next day.
Last weekend Ryan and Ben finished off their sporting events for awhile and went to a MN Swarm game with Colten and Tony. The boys had a great time learning more about la crosse and the Swarm even won in overtime! Ben and Colten each got their own balls thrown to them by one of the players from the other team. Apparently there was a group of fans cheering for the opposing team sitting a few rows back. Ben needs to work on his better sportsmanship. Every time they cheered for the other team, Ben gave them the stink eye!
