Last weekend was Dan Patch Days in Savage. It was a busy weekend! We look forward to this weekend every year. Although the weather was questionable most of the day, it cleared up late afternoon allowing us to have a good time. Our good friends, Julie, Brad and their 2 boys from WI came to visit for the weekend and join in the festivities. Nate and Jenn also brought the girls up for the afternoon to check out all the bounce houses.
Ryan ran the 5k on Saturday morning. Ben is obsessed with running with his dad and was so excited to warm up with Ryan. He made sure he had the perfect running outfit on and didn't forget his beloved running shoes.
This bounce slide made me a little nervous but it was one of his favorites
Dan Patch days wouldn't be complete without BFF, Colten and running into other friends from school. The 3 had fun playing together.
We really shouldn't have encouraged this but it was so funny to watch. Ben and Colten went back and forth pushing each other to the ground and laughing about it. We are going to be in trouble with the teachers if they try this at school on Monday.

Ben had fun playing with Matthew and Mason and loved having the company.

We wrapped up the long yet fun weekend by heading to the Dan Patch parade Sunday afternoon. Despite Ben's face above, he had a great time.
Ben sees Tigger and the first thing he asks is if he can give Tigger a hug.
It was a great weekend and we are already looking forward to next years Dan Patch days!
